Fabrication and installation of Sand Filter and Pressure Tank Cap. 4 and 8 m3/h

Project Overview

This project involved the fabrication and installation of three sand filter units at PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor Plant Tambun I to enhance domestic water supply quality and reliability. Two units have a capacity of 4 m³/h, and one unit has 8 m³/h. The work included pressure tank fabrication, tank foundation construction, pump and piping installation, as well as electrical and control system integration. System reliability and operational stability were key priorities throughout the project.

Project Objective
The objective was to provide a stable domestic water supply that meets operational standards while ensuring long-term system reliability. The project aimed to optimize water filtration performance, improve system efficiency, and deliver a fully integrated solution for the facility.

Project Scope

1. Engineering and System Planning

   • Determine sand filter capacities and configuration

   • Design system based on domestic water demand

   • Adjust design to existing facility conditions

2. Fabrication and Civil Works

   • Fabrication of pressure tanks

   • Construction of tank foundations

   • Site preparation for system installation

3. Mechanical and Piping Installation

   • Integrate sand filters into the domestic water system

4. Electrical and Control System Installation
