SECTION 1 – GENERAL SPECIFICATION

1.1  SYSTEM OUTLINE

This specification covers the requirements for extension of existing waste water treatment plant to increase its capacity to 58 m3/h.

The following chapters describe the necessary modification required for existing facility so it can be able to cope with additional load of 30 m3/h.

Following list are the major modification which are needed:

  1. Transfer pump increase capacity.
  2. Piping additional to cope with increase flow.
  3. Modification of Presettler
  4. Inclined settler modification
  5. Filter Press additional to cope with the addtional solid waste from biological treatment.
  6. Blower additional for aeration tank
  7. Biological sludge pump from clarifier.
  8. Biological clarifier additional lamela settler
